As some of you might have noticed, I haven’t been online much recently. This is not only due to Tumblr’s new dumb rules where they don’t even address other problematic blogs like all of those pro ana ones or the white supremacist ones but also because there are so many goddamn porn bots that it’s getting stressful to use this site. My stuff is reblogged and edited to contain links to who knows where, so yeah. I don’t enjoy being on here anymore. Long story short, I think I’ll close this account soon. In honor of Britney Spears’ birthday (December 2), I want to remind everyone that this woman was publically ostracized for struggling with the onset of mental illness, divorce, and losing custody of her children after years of media scrutiny and hypersexualization starting at the age of 17. No, she is not just a crazy woman who shaved her head. She’s the victim of an industry that loves to build a woman up before tearing her down.
